So… long time no blog. time to fix that!

Jessica (who was actually the first bride ever to book me) came over for some indoor maternity shots. It’s been a long time since I’ve done anything other than little ones inside, but I think these turned out pretty good. Hope you like!
And no, hopefully that’s not really his name… hopefully (no offense to anyone named Brutus). They’re just not sharing the name, so that’s his name until he makes his appearance.

Fort Smith AR Maternity Photographer | Waiting on Laney…

I know the blog’s been a bit quiet recently, thanks mostly to that lovely Arkansas heat and humidity (aka “the air you can wear”). More on what’s been going on recently coming soon. Now on to some pics–

Little Laney should be here in less than a month. I know Mom & Dad are excited, but I don’t think big sis Avery has any idea of what’s about to happen…

Fort Smith Maternity Photographer | Destiny’s Fashion Session

So, this wasn’t exactly your typical maternity session for about three reasons…

  1. Destiny said she was looking for something different, so she chose me to see what I could come up with;
  2. I was looking to do something different with some maternity portraits (I was thinking something with light);
  3. She showed up to her maternity session in high heels!! (like 3″ heels!)

When I saw those shoes I figured she was going for something with a bit more of a fashion edge to it than you would usually see with pregnancy photos. Hence, I broke out the lights and took her and Rolland to some Fort Smith back alleys (the logical choice, right?). Then I went a little more fashiony (that’s a word, right?) with the editing. So what you get are some unique, edgy, fashionable maternity portraits. Enjoy…

Greenwood, AR Wedding Photographer | Robby & Jackie

So I guess I’ll try something a little different today. I’ve been wanting to play around with the video capabilities on my camera, but since I’m the only one shooting at a session, or in this case wedding, it’s hard to get the shots needed and get video. But, with Robby and Jackie’s wedding last month, I was able to sneak in a little video. Well, at least enough to put together a short clip anyway.
