Yup, you read right, a new name. What was once www.PhotographingSound.com – still is. You’ll still find newborns, kids, families, etc over here - I just decided to put engagements, bridals & weddings on their own special website. Er, blog. Blogsite. Whatever. So go check out Jon & Alexis’s wedding photos at www.XSweddings.com
DISCLAIMER: We’re gonna have a little fun with this one. But, right off the bat, my apologies to Gnomes, The Beatles, people with inner-ear disorders, farmers everywhere, Grant Wood, and Stan Lee. Leave us a comment if you want to see more stuff like this. Or if you don’t. Either way, why don’t you leave us a comment?
Now, on to the show…
————————————————————————————————–
I’m a bit behind on editing, to say the least, but I wanted to Jon and Alexis a quick sneak-peek of their engagement sessions from a couple weeks ago.
First, meet Alexis…
Then, Jon…
They’re pretty funny. And they can shrink on command…
…and multiply…
But they don’t have very good balance…
…which made them give up their dreams of becoming farmers (I hear balance is very important when working around heavy machinery)…
As I understand it, they were very sad to give up their pitchfork and farmhouse…
But while Alexis still mourns the loss of her fledgling agricultural career, Jon now believes he has been bitten by a radioactive arachnid which gave him super powers…
So whaddaya think? Like it, Love it, Hate it? Leave us a comment below and let us know.
A serious post will probably follow this one soon, so check back often!
Thanks!
We are so happy that one of our images was picked from hundreds of submissions as one of the top 14 images at the www.AllThingsBaby.biz blog. Head on over and vote for us… please!?!?! Thanks, we’re pic # 9, as seen below (from little man Jayce’s newborn session)…
Today’s post is of Taylor, Hannah’s older sister. She was a natural in front of the camera, despite what she might say. Very easy to get a real laugh from, and after all, those are the best kind of photos.
On a side note, Taylor’s going to be a senior next year and is working on getting us some more seniors from the Denver area. It may seem early to get Senior Portraits done while still a junior in high school, but it’s a great time if you want to be a Photographing Sound Senior Model for us like Taylor. It’s just that much more time to recruit new clients for us, making that much more money per referral for her. That’s right, be a Senior Model for us, and we’ll pay you for referring new clients to us. Refer enough people and you could earn a new flat panel HDTV or even a new laptop. Yup, a new laptop or new TV, wouldn’t one of those go great in your dorm room? And it’s not like we’re just giving away one to some lucky Senior Model, each model that refers enough people earns one. Heck, get enough referrals and we’ll buy you one of each! (that would be a lot of referrals, but if you’re up to it, so are we!!)
So you’re saying what’s the point of Taylor being a Senior Model for us when she lives in Denver? Well, glad you asked: We’re planning on doing some sessions in Colorado later this year, so if you’re in the Denver area and are interested in a session, drop us a line in the comment box below or the contact us section above.
Now, on to Taylor’s pics…
Maybe you remember this little guy from his newborn photos. He’s now three months old so mom & dad wanted some new pics. Despite it being crazy crowded at the park, and having far more direct sunlight light than I expected (silly ice storm taking out all the trees…), I think the photos turned out great. They sure do grow up too fast!!
and because it’s still one of my favorite newborn images I’ve ever captured, here he is as a wee little man…
