Thank you!
This little guy came all the way from Joplin for his newborn portraits here in Fort Smith (along with his mom, dad and big brother). He wasn’t too fond of the idea of sleep, but he eventually quieted down for a little while and I got some good ones…

and of course one of big brother
Whoa, two blog posts in one day… crazyness!
After Laney’s initial bout of fussiness, and after…umm… relieving some pressure from her belly (all over her Mom), she was a very sound sleeper. Love the red hair - just like her sister’s from about 2 years ago…

and one of big sis back when she was okay with being photographed…

So… long time no blog. time to fix that!
Jessica (who was actually the first bride ever to book me) came over for some indoor maternity shots. It’s been a long time since I’ve done anything other than little ones inside, but I think these turned out pretty good. Hope you like!
And no, hopefully that’s not really his name… hopefully (no offense to anyone named Brutus). They’re just not sharing the name, so that’s his name until he makes his appearance.

A couple weeks ago I had the pleasure of shooting little miss Emery’s newborn portraits in Rogers, AR. Her parents contacted me the day before to tell me she had arrived (we had of course chatted before that) - and since I was going to be in Northwest AR shooting an engagement session later the next day, they were cool with me coming up earlier in the day to see their new little lady. After a quick blanket change and an extra bump up on the thermostat, she was good to go. She even gave a good number of smiles, and with both Mom & Dad to boot!
I hope you enjoy them…

p.s.
perhaps you noticed the watermark is a bit different? well if you followed what’s happened with the weddings, you’ll probably guess what’s going to happen with the babies…
