Maybe you remember this little guy from his newborn photos. He’s now three months old so mom & dad wanted some new pics. Despite it being crazy crowded at the park, and having far more direct sunlight light than I expected (silly ice storm taking out all the trees…), I think the photos turned out great. They sure do grow up too fast!!
and because it’s still one of my favorite newborn images I’ve ever captured, here he is as a wee little man…
Just wanted to put a few of these from yesterday up on the blog before I head out the door towards Northwest Arkansas to do a Fayetteville baby photography session. This momma is being deployed on Monday and wanted to get some family pics before she left. Please keep her and all the other service men and women in your prayers.

We met up with Sophie & Brady (and their ‘rents) downtown last week to get some good ol’ family photos. It was a bit cool before we got there, but right as we stepped out of the car, it got really cold. Thank you Arkansas river.
Anyway, it made for some cute little rosy-red cheeks on the kids. Gotta love the way their momma dresses them too. Sophie did well right up till the end, until we tried to see if she could model a pettiskirt for us from Baby Chic Boutique. I guess it was just too cold for another change of clothes. (Even the bribe of a candy cane had no effect…)
So it’s crazy busy around here (not complaining) from all the last minute Christmas orders. So I’m just gonna put up a quick preview with a couple of pics with more to come later.

Here are some outfits we found when we went the other day…
Little Lily was about to have her first birthday, so her mom wanted to make sure she got some good portraits to remember her at this age. Unfortunately, she decided to skip her nap and fell asleep right as mom pulled up to start the session. I tried silly voices, sounds, jumping around… I even tried bribing with *pretty pictures* (business cards) and candy. But it turned out that if mom wasn’t holding her, she wasn’t happy. Oh well, it’s obvious that even without a big ol’ smile, she’s still super cute…
